St Luke’s, Open Space and Play Area.

Suitable for children of ages 4-7 years old, St Luke’s Walk is a small park with cradle swings, a mini round-a-bout and a small climbing frame.

Harvest Way Play Park

Harvest Way Open Space, Wildflower Meadow & Play Park

This area was transferred to the Hawkinge Town Council from FHDC in 2022.  There will be a Wildflower Meadow planted on the open space in Autumn 2023.

The play park is suitable for children of ages 4-12 years old.  The Harvest Way park has a round-a-bout, spring rockers, sea-saw, small play unit with a slide, cradle swings and bench seating.

Heron Forstal Avenue Open Space and Play Park

Suitable for children of ages 4-7 and 6-12 years old.  There are both cradle and seat swings, rockers and a large play unit with slide.

Widgeon Walk Gym Trail

Widgeon Walk Open Space and Gym Trail

Located at the end of Heron Forstal Avenue.  Suitable for teenagers and adults the Gym Trail is an innovative idea, providing a facility to work out in an outdoor environment.  You will find a sit-up pad, balancing beams and monkey bars, all built primarily out of wood.

Stombers Lane Open Space

This area was transferred to Hawkinge Town Council in 2022.  There are plans to replace all the equipment with a new play park once the nearby development is complete.

The dog run was installed at the site at Underwood in 2019.
